For the last few days the weather has been quite nice. Daytime temperature is up to -20C°; nighttime is a bit colder about -30C°. But for us it is considered warm. A week ago we had very bad weather. One day the wind was sometimes up to 20m/s. Anyway we moved 12km during the day. Now we are moving on relatively hard surface and moving about 15 to 20km per day. The following day after the bad weather a favorable wind of 8 to 10m/s blew, and we were finally able to use the parasails.

It's very easy and comfortable. If the surface is good, you can even fall to sleep. We progressed 10km just in one hour, but our luck seemed to end after that. At first the wind changed its direction and gradually became week, so we had to return to our usual movement without parasails.

Very beautiful nature is all around us. There are many large and small pieces of ices. And the mountains look wonderful too!

At the midday we have lunch, and in the evening we set the tent.

The footprints of polar bears are all over the place. We are spending more then one hour to set up the tent and perimeter.
