Answer is yes and no. Between AD10th and AD15th centuries, there was what is called "Thule culture based on whaling" across the arctic regions from the coastal Chuktoka Peninsula to Greenland. However, due to climate change and different colonial policies, the regional diversity in culture has emerged. Now, Russian Yupik (Eskimos) has a very diffrerent way of life from that of Inuit in Canada.
