Unfortunately we won't be studying physiological effects scientifically;
however, each member of the expedition is conscious of the changes their bodies are going through in the arctic conditions.
Up here the humidity is quite low, so it is important to take enough water to avoid dehydration and dryness of the skin.
The temperature is also extremely low and it is quite easy to get frostbite unless properly protecting the parts of the body,
such as nose, cheeks, ears, and fingers from the outside cold weather.
