1. Is the population threatened?
2. Do the artic hare live in big groups (crowds) or do they live a lonely life?
3. Does it dig itself down in the snow to hide from the wind?
4. Does the hare have to chew on bushes to sharpen its teeth?

1. Fortunately there is still enough number.

2. Basically all members of the rabbit family live alone. However in the winter season 10 to 60 arctic hares are seen forming a group in an open windswept field. It is said that this is because in a place where they cannot hide themselves it is easier to protect themselves from their enemies by staying in a group rather than being alone. This forming of group will end around May.

3. Arctic hares have strong claws and they can dig a tunnel 2m deep into the snow.

4. Rabbits have sharp front teeth like chisel. They feed on grass, leaf bud, small branch, bark, and so on. In order to bite off these foods, the chisel-like front teeth are useful. The shape of teeth is designed according to its feeding habits.
