Nagatani safely back in Resolute

Scarecely before the sunset, Mr. Nagatani has been picked up from the sea ice between Cornwallis Island and Devon Island, and transferred back to Resolute. His conditions are good without any serious injuries or health problems. He will be on the way back to Japan on Sunday, the 30th in local time.

It was doubtful for the whole day if they would be able to go pick him up even tomorrow as the aircraft had a mechanical problems. But at the last minute they managed to solve the problem, and decided to go before the day was over.
The spot Ohba and Nagatani had found was perfect for landing and they were able to land immediately they got there.
