My boots broke. In an extreme cold weather of -50C° my breath freezes. The sweat also freezes. Finally a shoe sole was split wide, and I couldn't walk because of the coldness. The sole is about 2cm thick and it is made of rubber. The rubber became stiff due to the cold temperature. When pulling the heavy sled, heel part rises as the toe is fixed with the binding of the skis. The sole split due to the repetition of the action. Softer rubber or special bindings are necessary in this kind of environment. Difficult situations are continuing.
