Water Pipe Burst!
Today also most of the preparations were done at the garage.
Today's main work was dividing up the food.
I am a bit worried about Stepan and Håvard because they haven't tried out the expedition food: pemmican and chocolate bar.
But seeing that they had no much interest in trying them out, I think I need not to worry much.
We left the garage as we finished sorting out equipment and food.
It was when we were back in the rooms and continued preparing our own things Lucas rang.
He said the garage was all wet. When we went to the garage in the morning we switched on the heating system,
but we switched it off when we left the garage later today.
The change of temperature caused the water pipe to burst, flooding the garage with water.
By the time we arrived there the water had already turned into ice.
Many of the cardboard boxes were soaked, but luckily it was not irreparable.
Håvard and Stepan was busy taking pictures and filming the accident rather than worrying about their equipment.
Raymond of CO-OP also came and helped us a great deal.
Tonight I was finally able to have the time to write this journal.
However I had troubles attaching photos and sending an e-mail.
Stepan is very skillful with electrical appliances; he can even handle Japanese ones.
He is such a wonderful support for me.
