Grise Fiord
Today I flew to Grise Fiord, the northernmost village in Canada.
The purposes are to prepare supply goods and to conduct snow sampling.
This morning four people I befriended in Resolute Bay came to see me off.
I was the only passenger and the rest was a large quantity of luggage loaded on board the 9:00 airplane.
The weather was fine and I could see the landscape far away.
After flying about one and a half hours, the plane landed in Grise Fiord where I was greeted by Annie who I became acquainted with in Resolute Bay.
Originally I was scheduled to fly one week earlier, so she has been wondering when I was coming here.
About 150 people live in this village. That's about 50 people less than Resolute Bay.

Compared to Resolute Bay, Grise Fiord is long from side to side.
