Traditional fur clothing

At 9:40 in the morning I got a phone call from the team. The position was 82 degrees 54 minutes North and 70 degrees 54 minutes West. Today I will introduce clothing hunters wear during the winter season and compare it with the traditional Inuit clothing.

This one has a fastener in front. Tradition Inuit style is a pullover, which is better in terms of insulating heat inside. The upper and bottom wears are made of Caribou fur.

In old days the Inuit people put this clothing over the naked body. The snow can be easily shaken off. When sleeping, people also slept naked between the fur of caribou or they slept on polar bear fur with caribou fur using as a blanket.

This clothing is actually owned by a 2-meter tall hunter from America. He came here to hunt for polar bears. This fits perfectly on his tall body, but I am 162cm tall, so the edge of upper wear reaches below my knees. It is quite heavy and a bit smelly.

This boots have a triple structure. Sole of the boots is made of wool, upper part of the boots is sheepskin, and the rest is sealskin. The boots are quite long, so the pants are of three-quarter-length.
