Health Problem
When I wake up this morning, I felt like throwing up.
My neck also hurts. Håvard's condition is also not good.
So we both went to a nearby health center.
Change of environment and tiredness seems to have caused Håvard's health problem.
I was told that my neck problem most likely came from a long flight and soft bed,
which placed a burden on my neck.
The nausea seems to have come from the difference between Japan and Canada.
The air here in Resolute Bay is very dry.
Besides my body has not been acclimatized to the big temperature difference between outdoor coldness and indoor warmness.
The change of diet seems to have caused the problem.
Four years ago when I traveled around India, I almost caught amoebic dysentery.
Other than that, I did not have any fever at all.
But I think I gained some resistance against disease because when I traveled South East Asia after India,
I did not have any trouble eating any food and drinking not boiled water.
So I was very surprised at the fact that I became sick at a place that has a good lifeline and sanitary condition.
It was my first experience to get a diagnosis in a foreign land.
I had been to North America several times before and this is the third visit to the arctic.
